This past Sunday concluded the Virtuoso Series of the Pro Art Musical with a recital of song at the Center of Fine Arts (Puerto Rico). The young Canadian tenor Philippe Castgner was presented with American pianist Caren Levine. The pianist, Caren Levine, show to be a collaborator of the first order, achieving a perfect balance with the singer. In the songs of Liszt she exhibited a brilliant technique, while her phrasing in those of Schubert were nothing less than exquisite.
